Blue Pages — RRRAINNN Special 11 — Lisa L. Weber

. . .

Dream

I watched a solar eclipse but did not lose
my eyes, only lost the way back down
a snow-covered mountain, an avalanche
of wonder and worry rolling down,
rolling down, I'm rolling past fallen trees
like black stars dotting a sky of white
lights flooding my brain, swimming
for the shore of remembering
you have floated away, I am calling
for you but the line has gone silent
night has swallowed me
hole in my heart where the moon
used to be, full and blood-red
in your trembling hands.
